Certificate Holders
This document will
explain how the Certificate Holders option works from the Policy Summary
screen.

Click on Certificate
Holders to add or access those associated to this policy.
NOTE: Certificate
Holders include:
Lien Holders, Mortgages, Additional Insureds, etc. You
will use this function when manually adding a Certificate Holder to a
client in InsurancePro.

Any Certificate
Holders that have been added to this policy and client will be listed here.

Click on the Add Cert. Holder button.

Choose
the effective date that the Certificate Holder was added.

Add the Type
of Certificate Holder from the dropdown list or you may type into the
field and add any description to the list.

Enter the respective
Name, Address, Phone, Fax, Loan# of your Certificate Holder.

This
screen includes a section for Notes/Dates Printed for additional
information regarding this Certificate Holder. The information you enter here does not
transfer to any other note area for the customer, it is only displayed on this
screen.

The For Vehicle entry allows you to add the respective vehicle to
the Certificate Holder.

You
can also enter the Certificate Holder name, address, etc. by clicking
the Add Existing button. This
will pull, from your saved database, any Certificate Holder information
that was saved for previous clients.

The Select
Certificate Holder box appears.

When List ONLY for
Client is checked, you will see a list of previously added Certificate
Holders for that client.

When List ALL
Cert. Holders is checked, you will see the list for every Certificate
Holder in your database.

Regardless of the
list you use, highlight the Certificate Holder you want to pull into
your client and click OK.

The Certificate
Holder information will pre-fill for you.
Cancel will allow you to
leave the Add New Cert. Holder screen without saving this information.
Click on Save
to add this information to your client.
NOTE: The program will automatically enter a note
in the View/Add Notes section anytime you add and save a Certificate
Holder to a client file.

(When you get back to
the Certificate Holders screen after saving the one you just added, make sure
you click on the Certificate Holders button to refresh the screen. Otherwise you will not see the one you just
added. )

To edit or review an
existing Certificate Holder, highlight the one you want and click on the
Edit/View Info button.

The
View/Edit Certificate Holder box will open and allow you to see or
change any information. Remember to hit Save
if you are changing any information or hit Cancel to exit without
saving any changes.

Highlight and click
on Delete to remove a Certificate Holder.

Highlight
and click on Print Binder to bring up an Insurance Binder pre-filled
with the Certificate Holder information to preview and then print.

Notice the Lien
Holder information pre-fills along with all the policy information.

You
will need to click on the Choose Vehicle button to select the vehicle
you want to show on the binder.

Check the box of the
vehicle you want to add and click OK.

Your vehicle
information will be added in.
Print and Close
options are in the top left corner of the top menu bar.

Save
As allows
you to list a description for the form other than the formal ACORD name for
example: ACORD Insurance Binder.
TIP:
Your
description could reflect the year/make/model or physical address when dealing
with property, etc.

You may choose to Print out a copy of the ACORD form.
NOTE:
When you print a copy out the program will automatically enter a note
into the View/Add Notes section for that client.

Yes will add this form
to the Saved Forms category in the Print Forms/Letters area.

When
you Close, if you have not done Save As to
enter a description, the program will ask you to save and will allow you to enter
the description at that time.
Once
you have entered the description click OK.
