How to Add a new Policy to InsurancePro

 

 

 

Click the Add a New Policy option in the center Main Menu or on the left side tool bar under Policy Options.

 

 

 

The Following instructions are based on adding an Auto policy.

 

Policy Type - Select the type of policy.

 

 

Policy Term - This feature allows you to choose a preset or Custom term limit. To enter your own expiration date, click on Custom and tab out of the field.

 

 

 

 

Type the expiration date into the field or click on the Exp. Date dropdown box and choose your date.

   

 

 

Complete the entry for your Applicant Name, Address, phone numbers and email address.

 

 

 

Click on Mailing Address to enter if it is different than the property address.

 

 

Prior Insurance - When checked, you can choose level of policy and lapse options.

 

 

 

Enter Detailed Information - If left unchecked, when you click the Next button the program will skip over all detailed information tabs across the bottom (Drivers, Coverage, Vehicles, Custom) and takes you directly to the Policy tab.   You also have the option to click on the Drivers, Coverage, Vehicles, Custom and Policy tabs to move directly to that screen.

 

Clicking the Cancel button will allow you to exit the Policy Type without having to save the changed information.  You will be taken out of the Policy Type and back to that clients Policy Summary Screen.

 

Clicking Save button will allow the information entered to be retained and take you out of the Policy Type back to that clients Policy Summary Screen.
