 Reformat Database

Every once in a while, the InsurancePro data might need reformatting. Reformatting is a process that basically re-arranges (re-indexes) the database to make it faster, and also corrects the name and phone number formats. This process also compresses the database for maximum efficiency. If you feel that your InsurancePro database file size has grown more than what it should be, or if it has started running very slow, Reformatting the database may help in making these problems better.

To Reformat Database, click on "Options" from the Main Menu.

Then click on the option to "Reformat Database".

InsurancePro will complete the reformat process. Once it is done, InsurancePro will shut down, and must be restarted.

Note: Before reformatting the database, please make sure that InsurancePro is not being used on any other machine, otherwise the Reformat Process will fail.
