InsurancePro features a nice and helpful
Agency Tool called "IP Messenger", which can be used to send and receive
instant messages to InsurancePro users. This system works similar to a
chatting software, but it does not use the internet to send and receive
messages. That basically means that if you have had popular messaging
programs like Yahoo or MSN messenger blocked in your office, IP Messenger
can still be used to communicate between your employees. It can only be used
to communicate between InsurancePro users.
InsurancePro gives you an option to start IP Messenger
when the program is started.

You can also run IP Messenger from the
"Agency Tools" Menu.

The IP Messenger will log you in as an "ONLINE USER" and
start the messaging program. All the users that are currently using the IP
Messenger will be listed under "ONLINE USERS", and the ones that are not
running the messenger will be under "OFFLINE USERS". Being offline only
means that the user is currently not running the IP Messenger program. They
might be using InsurancePro.

To send a message to a user, click on their name and
then click on "Instant Messaging" button. This will bring up the IP Message
Window.

To send a message, type it in the space provided, and
click on "Send". You can select multiple names from the list, and send a
message to them together. To select multiple names, either click, hold and
drag your right mouse button, or press and hold the "CTRL" Key, and then
click on the names from the list.
You can also send messages to Offline Users. They will
see it once they log in. If your Message window is minimized, and someone
sends you a message, the window bar will start blinking, indicating that you
have received a new message.
This is an extremely useful tool for your Agents to
quickly communicate between each other.
