Starting InsurancePro for the first time:
After Installing InsurancePro for the first time, it
can be run with a sample database, so that you can thoroughly test all the
different features of InsurancePro with a populated database. You can also
choose to start with a blank database, and start entering your own Agency’s
information actual information. It is easy to switch from a blank database to
an empty one.

When you start the blank InsurancePro database for the
first time, the Help Wizard comes up, and guides you through the process.
Once you have followed the instructions given to you by the Help Wizard
successfully, you are ready to use InsurancePro.
Login and Security Feature:
InsurancePro has a built in security system that
prevents your data from undesirable access. You can setup the program so that
when it starts, it will ask for a User ID and a password. Until a correct
combination of User ID and password is entered, the program will not allow
anyone to use the program. You can assign a unique User ID and password for
each one of your agents. Moreover, you can restrict which part of the program
will be accessible to which user. Details about how to assign User IDs and
passwords, and also about restricting user access, are explained in the “Agent Information” section.

NOTE: User ID is not case sensitive, but the password
must be written exactly as it was assigned, taking care of capital and small
letters.
You can also choose to disable user login, in which
case, InsurancePro WILL NOT ask for a user ID or password at ANY terminal
when starting. This will also disable any access restrictions, and anyone who
starts InsurancePro will be able to review any Information. Disabling User
login is highly non-recommended, but the feature is available in case you opt
to do so. Details about how to enable or disable user login is provided in
the “Agency Information” section.
IP Office Messenger:
InsurancePro also has a built-in messaging system that
your Agents/CSRs (InsurancePro Users) can use to communicate with each other
and leave messages/memos for them. If you check mark "Start IP Office
Messenger" when logging in to InsurancePro, the messaging system will
start. For more information, please click here.
