 Client/Policy Summary Screen – Images/Scan Documents

 

 

 

 

InsurancePro can help your agency go Paperless!!!  InsurancePro has the capability to directly scan a picture or a document in to the program from your scanner. For documents, you can even do multi page scanning. Scanning capability is an extremely useful feature, as you can have all the important papers related to a policy scanned in to the computer, and you can pull it up easily and quickly whenever you need it.

 

First make sure that a TWAIN Compliant scanner is installed in your system. Then from the client information screen, click on “Images/Scan Document”. The first time you are ready to scan a document in InsurancePro, you have to select your scanner by clicking on “Select Scan Source”.

 

 

If your scanner has been installed properly, it will come up on this screen.

 

After selecting the source, click on “Scan a document” for scanning single page or multi page documents. Enter a description for the image, and hit okay. Once the picture or document is scanned, you will be able to view it, rotate it, resize it and print it by double clicking on the image. You can also email any picture from InsurancePro. To send it as an email, you must have at least one email account setup. For more information on how to setup your email, click here.

 

InsurancePro lets the agent also allows you to attach images or any other file (Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, etc) that is already stored in your computer, and needs to be associated to the policy. To attach a picture that is already available on the computer, double click on “Add New Image/File”. The program will ask for a description of the file, and then ask you to locate it on your computer.
