Backing up your critical data is extremely
important as it prevents Data loss in case of Computer problems or failure.
It is highly recommended that you frequently make backups of the
InsurancePro database, as it contains vital information about your business
and clients, and losing this data may prove critical to your business
operations.
The best and easiest way to make a backup is to copy the
entire InsurancePro folder from your server computer to a CD Rom or Zip
Drive. InsurancePro also provides the option to compress your database file
and store it in any location you specify.
To make a backup of your data through
InsurancePro, click on the "File" Menu, and then click on "Backup Data".

InsurancePro will ask you to specify the
location where you want to store your data. By default, InsurancePro looks
in the "A:" drive, and if there is no disk in the A Drive, you will get an
error message to Enter a Disk. If you do not plan to make the back up on the
"A:" drive, please click "Cancel" and specify a different location.

InsurancePro will create a backup of the
database, display a confirmation message.
To restore data that you had previously backed up, click
on "File" and then "Restore Data". Restoring data will erase your current
database, and this process cannot be undone, that is why InsurancePro
first asks you to confirm that you want to continue.

InsurancePro will ask you to specify the location where
the data was stored. Choose the backup file name, and the data will be
restored.
