Business Reports – Business Production/Performance Graphs |

|
InsurancePro allows you to easily generate many different graphs, which gives you an analysis of your Agency’s Production/Performance. You will be able to quickly pick out the strong and weak areas of your business.
Let us understand how to generate graphs with an example. Lets say you would like to see how many New policies you have written in the last 30 days, and you would like to see which how many policies each Agent wrote. Pull out the side menu, and click on “New Business Report”. Set the dates in “From” and “To”. In “Generate For”, choose “Policy Count” and in “Group By”, choose “Agents”. (Note: This is the default setting when you first come to the Business Report screen from the Main Menu). Click on “Generate”, and you will see a graph, which will total up all the number of new policies your Agency has written in the last 30 days, and the graph will give you a break up of how many policies were written by each Agent.
You can also get a similar break up for Companies, i.e., how many policies were written through each company, and a break up by Policy Type, which will tell you a count how many Auto, Commercial, Home Owner, or other policies your Agency has written. By changing the “Generate For” field, you can easily get graphs for the “Agency Fee”, “Commissions” and “Policy Premiums” you have accumulated, and you can also get similar breakups by adjusting the “Group Type”.
You have the following options to generate different Types of Graphs
Policy Count: InsurancePro will give you the total number of policies you have written between the selected dates. Selecting “Agents” in “Group By” will tell you what number of policies each Agent did. Selecting “Companies” will give you what number of policies was placed with each company out of the total number of new policies written. Similarly, selecting “Policy Type” will give you the count of each type of policy. And finally, if you have multiple locations setup in InsurancePro, selecting “Locations” will give you the number of policies written by each location out of the total number of policies.
Business Commission: Selecting this option in “Generate for” will give you the total commission your Agency has accumulated between the selected dates. Again, you can choose to break up the commission in the “Group by” option to see who contributed how much towards the total Commission.
Agency Fee: Selecting Agency Fee option in “Generate for” will give you the total Agency Fee your Agency has accumulated between the selected dates. Again, you can choose to break up the Agency Fee in the “Group by” option to see who contributed how much towards the total Agency Fee.
Policy Premiums: It is exactly the same as the other options. You can see the total premium generated by your Agency, and you can also see the contribution of each entity towards the total premium generated.
You can generate such graphs for “New Business”, “Renewals”, and “Cancellations” by choosing the options from the sliding “Report Options”. These graphs will give you a quick and effective analysis of your Agents and your Business’s Performance.
You can also generate graphs to review Agency fees received based on Types. This report can use data from 2 different sources: Payments Received or Policies Entered. When you choose "From Payments Received", InsurancePro will generate the report based on the fees specified on payments
